We will address just about everything that will come up on your journey through labor and birth! This interactive workshop covers all the bases from Braxton-Hicks to the Golden Hour after baby’s arrival to properly prepare you for what lies ahead. Separated into two sections, the first section is primarily education based and gives you the information you need to know about the physiological process and how to help coach it along - while the second half is an all hands on deck Comfort Measures class. In the Comfort measures portion we practice early labor techniques, sample contraction timing, and give you all the tips and tricks for pain relief with and without medications!
Postpartum is longer than 6 weeks, 6 months, or even 6 years. Postpartum and how you treat the postpartum period will affect the rest of your life. It sets the tone for your parenting journey, your little’s childhood, and how you will move seamlessly through the world together. During a Postpartum Planning Workshop we will discuss and make plans for things like:

Congratulations on your little one(s)! Now what? As a 5 year certified Postpartum Doula, I will walk side by side with you as you navigate the Fourth Trimester. This can be a time of uncertainty for some, or a time of conflicting emotions as the joys of parenthood swirl around with new fears, thoughts, and responsibilities. During this time it is important to prioritize yourself and your needs along with those of your newest family member(s).
Having postpartum support is beneficial for a number of reasons, especially from a seasoned professional. Where you have questions, conflicting information, outside opinions, and a whole new workload - I have guidance, warmth, and unbiased care. I meet you exactly where you are to build a relationship on trust and safety, while providing evidence based recommendations, referrals as appropriate, and emotional support as needed.
This support gives you 24/7 access to me, my years of experience, and compassionate care to address your wellbeing and concerns as the need arises. This support is available from birth to the 6 month mark typically, but can be flexible for the needs of you and your family.
